I think quite a number of these shares were bought to supply short sellers. 3,896,928 listed interest nature "Holder of securities subject to an obligation to return under a securities lending or prime brokerage agreement. Right as lender to recall the shares under a prime brokerage agreement."
The total shorts has risen sharply last week. 0.2% to 0.91% from 6th to 13th Nov.Price in that time went from 16.45 to 15.42. SP closed at 14.15 today. I suspect the short total will have climbed above 1% by now.
