I have been also trying tho read HH's mind.
My best guess is they are trying to make money and more money, some now and some latter.
Exactly what percentage of each, I have not got a clue, but since CBD is not paying dividend, the only way to convert paper profit to cash profit is to sell stock that has increased in value. It depends how much cash profit they need to pay themselves good bonuses and how much cash they want to pay their investors.

I think I will do some research on Hunter Hill and report back, if I find anything interesting.

BTW, I take my clues from what SOL is doing, they are pretty shrewd investors in the time tested, old fashioned way and I mean this as a compliment. They like to get rough diamond and wait for it to turn into sparking brilliant stone. They are patient and it pays dividend most of the times.
Also, they are not likely to dump heaps of stock on the market so they can report great profit this quarter without thinking about next.

Hunter Hill got a great deal with the convertible notes and they exploited it to the max.
I have already said in this thread that IMO the CBD could have achieved the desired capital increase by offering new shares to all investors rather than sweetening the convertible notes deal for HH.
In this game retail investors always come poor second after the big fellers.
I am trying to become big feller myself but it is a hard yakka.
I am working on my second million. The first one was too hard so I gave up.
