Don't you think its taken too long? If you think it has then there is always a reason for it. Also if you then are going to ask how do I know this its because I ask the company questions.

So we undertake more work, so we can spread our resources in terms of manpower even thinner!!!!!!

Well this will lead to poorer performance in the field IMHO.
