You are not alone. I was left holding some shares that I bought at too high a price yesterday also. With the US furures up most of the day I thought it was a safe move. It smarts as a short term transaction but I am a very long term holder and so will be holding out for what I expect the long term gains will be.

I agree with your comments on the gap. I was concerned about it but recently thought that it might be forgotten.

I guess one plus from todays fiasco is that it is now filled.
