It's entirely possible that the driver could have overheard conversations between individuals while on the cab. I don't doubt that at all.
However, the driver would need to know A LOT about what's happening re the companies to put two and two together.
Interesting perspective there re NM. If I had known we wouldn't be getting port approval, why wouldn't I wait until that's announced, the SP crumbles, and THEN put in the money? It may be chicken feed to him, but hey, you'd rather be MAKING money rather than LOSING money...
Be keen to find out about the how the MIN camp are celebrating.
I'm doubtful, but I don't discount it.
