re: Ann: Beach declares its offer price of 20... By definition an on-market bid is final. THIS bid was final when it was made.
Why do people have trouble with this - like some confusion by some sellers as to whether they can get their shares back after selling on-market, or get the top-up if ANOTHER bid comes along?
All we have at the moment is a buyer standing in the market with a better bid than anyone else. It's called trading.
