Just another arm of PIIC??? Where do you get that from?
BCP Energy Int Pte Ltd (Singapore) is a subsidiary of Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (Thailand). If you research Bangchak, I'm pretty sure you won't see Petroleum International Investment Corporation (PIIC) in there.
Granted it may not be an IPO, but they intend to "increase the registered capital" (shares - whether private or public) to raise AUD$22.2M for the purpose of funding for the acquisition of Nido shares from PIIC....to put it in context, again.
Remember how much T/o speculation there was on these threads when after the last CR 2012/2013 we learnt that the Thaiger Shark had almost 20% of the co. (via PIIC)...the charge was led by yourself.
Mr Thai is now selling the PIIC interest for 5.5c/sh after getting it for 2.7c/sh...103.7% profit, or around AUD$11.2826M profit, and probably no costs.
Some additional info....
As at the last Annual Fin Report (Dec 2013), our only substantial s/h PIIC held 406,951,875 (19.85%)....that's exactly 4M more than BCP just bought from PIIC....
Two possibilities come to mind...
1. PIIC sold off 4M since the ann rep, or 2, the man that owns PIIC (Mr Chatchai Yenbamroong - Thaiger Shark) has siphoned them off and added them to his own personal holding which was noted as 19.448M (0.95%) in the same annual report....remember I told you he was holding more than 20% between his co. and himself...reignited the T/o talk yet again.
On the other hand, PIIC could've sold 4M and Mr Thai could've sold his 19.448M....we just couldn't seem to bust through that selling over the last so many months, even with Baragatan looming.
Still room for more speculation in this regard....does he still hold some, or is he gone? We'd know if PB put the top 20 in the Q's like OEL.
