So my friend Elliot5 just reminded me that Santos just put out a great presentation which goes into a fair bit of detail regarding the Cooper Basin. So here is a slide shows that Santos is covering all the bases in the Cooper Basin for Uncon gas (with, interestingly, results for its deep coals which include liquids, pretty sure that is newly released).

This one slide really does pack a punch with the flow rates. Santos started well behind BPT, yet it has 3 wells on production, BPT and now Chevron still have zero. While I know the Santos wells are located close to existing pipelines, so are some of BPTs.
As a DLS holder, I am extremely happy to see the rates being achieved by Santos, as DLS has prime acreage with the Patchawarra trough, deep coals and Nappamerri trough (cannot say much on the Moomba big lake, as its an old field being revitalised, but I think PEL 101 will end up with fields that will be similar, but not as big)
If only BPT could have put out a slide like this 3/4 years ago. It takes time to really prove up a new play.
