A detail I hadn’t noticed:
- design capacity of Montepuez Plant ( 500 ktpa, modular )
- design capacity of Balama Plant ( 550 ktpa, modular )
A total of 1050 ktpa!
That’s over 5 times ramp plan of the current 2 projects combined ... 200 ktpa+ by 2025.
Good that they’ve considered significant capacity for growth of the process plants. Obviously CAPEX to add modules but if there’s a need it would likely be funded by free cashflow or JV.
