Will developments in Mongolia have any effect on the SP , here or there? Rio Tinto have assumed control of operating the OYu Tolgoi copper gold mine and decided to take up 49% ownership of the mine. They also seem to have concurrently stopped the bickering with Friedland & others about the future course & ownership of the mine. Copper shares have been rising quickly over the past few weeks- so this latest news should bump IVN's share price from the mid 20's to the almost 30's on a permanent basis. A strong IVN SP is usually followed by a rising IVA. I'm somewhat relieved that the mooted Chinese partnership didn't eventuate to complicate an already delicate situation. I hold IVN not IVA.
