CBA have been creeping up the register (announced) so using their figures (Commsec data sheet)...
PE is at the sector average but the projected forward earnings are go up to around twice what they are now over 2.5 years to the 2020 financial year. Roughly
In the end it all obviously it has to do with the health of the company and as far as I can see there aren't any blaring impediments to that at this stage. Quite the contrary but look at the price.
There may be something we don't know about?.
Its just a terrible sector as far as investing is concerned. Maybe that has something to do with it as well.
