GC, can be many reasons for formation pressures, it's a very large topic, so imo don't read too much into it.
In this instance we can probably assume that the formation pressure is caused by the fault we are drilling, ie, fault - the layers of rock crack and one side shifts upward or downward. This situation can cause a lot of formation pressure...see pic in AGM preso bottom of pg 10 opposite JU rig pic.
From our perspective we would like part of that pressure to be caused by the breakdown of micro organisms to create oil and gas in a source rock and then migrate to the trap we are drilling into, but we'll just have to wait for the testing procedures to confirm that one way or another
C1 to C5 readings and oil fluorescence are good things to have at this point, but in no way indicate a commercial find...wait for testing.
