I don't want to burst your bubble or rain on your parade but get a grip (man/manette). You are in the heartland of the two fiercest packaging giants in Australia. They are cashed up and they HATE competitors of any ilk. They have significant infrastructure already in place (with respect to packaging) in FNQ and they will beat any competitor to death (financially). "Just make something and sell it already". Really? Read up on McDonalds. They won because they had something no-one else had (at the time) and even to this day their hamburgers would have to rate as the worst in the world. Yep, they don't sell hamburgers as such and they make money because no-one can get near their system! Bless all those that sail on the good ship PPY but all they have is intellectual property and frankly its worth less than a cent (and I'm being generous). Go back and read the original prospectus and compare what they said then against what they are now saying. If you are honest you will be mortified. Let me explain; the main ingredient in moulded pulp trays are fibres (from any source and usually its from a paper waste stream) are combined with the second input, which is WATER. Both fibre and water are added to a “blender” where they are mixed together to create a PULP slurry. At this point bleaches or additives are added to the mixture to improve the product’s aesthetics or function in some way. Ultimately, a final product is produced while by-product chemicals are leached into the environment. The pulp once created, is added to a mould where it is subjected to heat, drying, and vacuuming. Some of the latest technology can create moulded fibre that is dense, well-defined, and smooth, just like a typical piece of clear plastic. Common products made from moulded pulp fibre include cups, food containers, plates, utensils, bowls, protective coverings, and cases. Awesome, and best left to the Chinese. Why? Because they have no environmental scruples what so ever, unlike Papyrus Australia.
