An astute reader might, for instance have noticed that Newcrest normally (always as far as I am aware, but could be wrong) includes a statement like this in its presentations at conferences.

"in the case of Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves, that all material assumptions and technical parameters underpinning the estimates continue to apply and have not materially changed. Newcrest confirms that the form and context in which the competent person’s findings are presented have not been materially modified."

It is important to be aware that the above confirmation is required for Sandeep to talk about Ore Reserves or Mineral Resources in his presentation.

This statement is gone from this presentation- and interestingly the announcement makes no mention about Ore Reserves or Mineral Resources.

Does Newcrest simply not want to talk about Ore Reserves and Mineral Resources?

Or has something material changed and they are unable to?
