If you are just starting out in the shorting world.
Best to stick with the CFD brokers.
The brokerage is tiny and still offer quite a few companies to short sell.
Also i know that you can short SIR with them.
I use at least 5 brokers for shorting.
I am not going to tell you who i have shorted SIR in the past with.
But i do use IB (interactive brokers) a lot.
Not only for shorting shares in the ASX. But for my US penny stock trading as well.
The problem with them. They require at least 5 grand to open an account.
That is not a problem for me. But for many starting out, could be to costly.
If you can afford that, I would recommend IB.
Great customer support and lots of stocks to short. All over the world
If not then just stick with the CFD brokers for now.
