all fair comments thermo. Free carry or not, my comments today as a holder, i still have a vested interest to see us do well. But we have to be analytical. We have to probe. we Have to enquire. Its only in hindsight we can have the perspective to ask such.
i was very bullish, coming out of a mining bear market, into a tech, low capex, good margins on K2u.
Do you recall the AFR article on K2u, and @redbars discussions over margins. And compare with a competitors growth ? who achieved huge MC growth, selling just a simple product ? That could have been us, and K2u. Because K2u was simple, low hub requirements. But despite all the talk from the company, on its margins, and potential, they dropped the ball, and blamed their regional marketing partner.
The story evolves, and so does our perspective. i no longer have my pom poms, or my cheerleader outfit.
Why was K2u Dropped as a primary product? if it was said to be an easily marketable , better than peer product? Although it remains as a bonus feature in the tv2 b2bs.
Either it wasnt up to what the marketing spin or market penetration was promoted at the time, by the company to be. Or, nick abandoned it to chase the skirt of the razzle dazzle of the next Netflix. Which had its own issues, including chasing crap partnering, or our tech wasnt ready.
