Teck could take a while to find any significant Cu. They take their sweet bleddy time with everything.
(I wonder what it's like trying to order refills for the Teck stationery cabinet....?)
Maybe they aren't listening very closely to AZS drill suggestions...? I assumed they would but ego might be involved since as a big company they nearly dismissed Alacran and upped stumps in Mexico? A certain amount of egg might be on face there...
Small explorer AZS goes:
- Look at this pile of silver...oh yeah!
- what about this heap of gold?..... hmm!. well we're looking for Cu...
- would you like some help? ....Nah! we're ok!! . etc. etc.
In that scenario it could be awhile. Teck have the tech(nology) to throw around but they didn't have the smarts to recognise Ag and Au when they saw it. How embarrassing is that?
AZS will now have to demonstrate exceptional value in Oposura and Sara Alicia.... because the price and terms of this raise demonstrates market scepticism, imo
Well, we do have to prove up more in the way of resources. With Oposura that's pretty clearly able to be done. for the first stage. It should be able to happen for the second stage as they found Zn at the other western end on the other side of the main fault line.
With Sara Alicia we really need to extend those boundaries. Again, Tony will not be drawn on this. It seems obvious though.
I hear what you're saying about SP suppression as they sell out of short term positions. Can't be helped. It's the post GFC reality that nothing is straight up.
But cobalt could go stratospheric. We are going into a potentially inflationary period and hard commodities could do well. ... I'm relieved this is out of the way and we can at least to proceed on what must be done re more exploration and any boundary extensions in the offing...
