Suffice to say THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HIT THEIR TARGET
.... since then, AWE has sold a heap of assets, halved its production (which I must admit is slightly humorous to think they now plan to 'double' production back to the levels of 2014!) and well, not really made $1. They are now back in debt, even though they continue to boast they have a strong balance sheet... um sorry, nope, but yes they can sure borrow like crazy again, rinse and repeat.
Like some, I just watch and wait for AWE to finally get bought out, for peanuts.
I would look to buy AWE, but it would seem that for at least the next 18 months, they are going to continue to spend more than they earn, become more debt ridden and have to sell more assets.
As for their statement that they are looking at acquisitions... wha??? They have enough on their plate. Just make some money! It's been years since they have.
