re: Ann: SFR: Award of Haulage and Port Servi... The boys at Qube are just quietly going about their business, kicking goals along the way. I was at a presentation of their latest results recently, where Maurice James spoke, and everything seems to be tracking nicely -revenue, profit, EBIT, EBITDA, EPS all increased significantly from previous corresponding period(s), as did the interim dividend. In fact, in the 3 weeks since, QUB have bought $47m of property in Melbourne, increased their stake in Moorebank to 85% and won a 5 year/$120m contract with Sandfire!!
They continue to grow the company in extremely tough and uncertain economic conditions, all the while maintaining a very conservative level of debt. We could not ask for a better management team running this company - just look at the job they did at Patrick's - and they're interests are aligned with the shareholders, as they all have skin in the game.
This is one for the bottom drawer or the SMSF, me reckons.
