Does Huayou buying in enough to maintain company share indicate confidence, indifference or more of the status quo? I would suggest that they had a specific interest in at the very least maintaining the percentage holding they have, to ensure they can keep their man on the board, who is unpopular with retail investors.
My concern is that other posters have suggested it was Huayou shorting prior to the SPP. During the VWAP period, they returned shares to buy, would it be possible they commence shorting now to shake the leaves again over the next few days to try to spook those looking for a quick exit unsatisfied with where we are at?
I have great confidence in the resource, I have concerns about the motivations of a key player within our shareholder family.
