LOL, that link is showing a picture of CAPACITORS, not batteries. No cobalt, lithium or AFAIK nickel required, mainly just aluminium.
Where I have to agree is with this logic mentioned there:

However, there is a general consensus among experts that this has limits because it leads to the increase in electric car prices and it can slow the rate of extension of not only the electric vehicle market but also the battery market."
SKI has lost the ability for a price discount and will be stuck(price wise) with all the others if prices go up too high. EVs definitely need to get cheaper or no boom.
