I think the ASX did them a real discredit by making them disclose the amount
They didn't include the figure as it wasn't material, the takeaway from the news was they received military supplier status, thus have undergone rigorous testing and must have demand
I'd imagine the $50K was an initial trial order, perhaps to secure a single barracks or similar. It would be unreasonable to expect SP3 to be able to disclose given the sensitivity of the customer. The key will be when they place an order worth substantial $$$
The other thing I particular liked from the news, was surely if they have demand for solar powered cameras, they would have demand for the thermal cameras. SP3 also recognise this:-
Also worth keeping in mind, thermal cameras are in testing currently with multiple Tier 1 customers with commercial sales expected in the September quarter 2018
Judging by all that, it would seem it could all be about to kick off for SP3
