Haha Teddy your posts are always entertaining if nothing else. Did you read the most recent Australian market update? Clearly states:
"Yowie is now available on shelf in store with retailers including Kmart, Toys R Us, Big W (100 stores on shelf week commencing 15 May), selected IGA stores and the Reject Shop at standard retail pricing." So shouldn't be much of a surprise that they've turned up in Kmart!
Pricing is at the sole discretion at the retailer, high volume stores like Kmart would be running at a lower gross margin than a convenience or novelty candy store which would explain the variation in the price, remember it is not Howie who sets this.
Those bins at the front of the store are quite common and a good way to drive impulse purchase. A few might get damaged but this is at the cost to the store, not yowie
