One of the most important things I've learnt about investing is to get out of a stock before you lose to much. I got out of AKK [ at a loss ] about 18 months ago when it finally dawned on me that the oil and shareprice were not going to stop falling. Meanwhile with the money I sold for, I have invested at a small profit elsewhere, with ups and downs.
Had I hung on to my shares I may also have had a negative attitude to AKK but I have been active on the share market elsewhere learning and trading. I have now re-invested in AKK as the situation after 2 years looks positive.
Basically, for me, AKK starts from here and is a well set up company in a good situation.
