Ah my bad, the old auto spell check changed your open pit to open plan. I should of realised that.

There is a low grade deposit (circa 2g/t I think) on surface at MStar that was reviewed for open pit mining.

Wallaby was also looked at for open pit - do they still have it as an ML? The last mine manager (Mike Botting) liked that one

I personally doubt the one at MStar would get approved due to risks with water going to the river and waste dumps etc but who knows.

I personally hope they stay focussed on underground all the time as the impacts are low and paste backfill is the way to go.

And as regards finding more mines the old timers missed well read my other post on that - it’s there and relatively easy to find.
