A few comments:
What is open plan mining?
MCO was run by Max and Nick Gatling, father and son lawyers ex Sydney and as I understand they controlled too much technical/operational decisions
Especially the plant specification In what blend of dyke Vs vein would be sent to it.
Tom de Vries and the BoD are operators with reputations and are working carefully and technically.
The project is based on incremental steps of getting RoD and MStar uppers running thru plant at some profitability to support bigger picture of deeper and regional exploration. Even a $5mill annual profit pays for that so maybe less cap raise dilution.
They may need yet again another $5mill cap raise but if so their plan of attack and cash at bank should allow a higher SP to underscore it, especially if the pundits are correct on gold moving north in 2019.
Yes lots of pitfalls ahead but a good team to negotiate them. And TDV will be MD not just CEO so good operational leadership not lawyers.
And the tonnage through the plant can be low grade with heaps of dyke or the reverse depending on the area mined so again based on 100yr and 50yr history I still think they can produce 10g/t head grade maybe with ore sorter.
