Look it's an out of left field thought( so madam...not your cup of tea) , but is it possible that bhp/ mitsui and say peabody and another biggy ...(the Chinese or Anglo -If they are still involved?) ; could consider a bid for Aurizon..as a way to provide certainty and increase export tonnage ( plus perhaps minimise costs)??
My bottom picking on big stocks been going ok in more recent times ( tls and gxl recently..bhp, wow, pmv, bpt, ipl, ilu, ori, nhc, org a while back .... but these are up a bit off bottom...just not sure whether to pay up..nor of likelihood of them coming good...assuming takeover does not happen
