SFR is still exploring madly at Morcks Well East, then there is the prospect of a discovery hitting the asx news at any time.​

The F'cap part of the ann says that the current program has been designed to test a new geological model. In order to try to understand that, we need to look at Fig 1 in yesterday's ann. That said though, Fig 1 ain't easy to read, so reliance needs to be placed on the reasoning of the geos. ​

From the narrative though, it seems that this was once considered to be just a structural gold target, but now is considered to be a potential vms cu/au area. That's how it reads to me, but I can't see anything in the 30/1 ann that says anything about copper, so why does it state in yesterday's ann that the original geochemical anomaly was coincident cu and au? ​

Copper must have shown up somewhere back in the past. Maybe that's what North Mining Ltd relied upon when it drilled in 1994 (see the 30/1 ann link to see what i'm talking about) but only got gold. Did it assay for copper though!! Maybe too, some copper has already been seen in this new lot of drilling - malachite?​

So, what the geos are saying is that the coincident copper and gold (great combo) is now seen as (perhaps!?) correlating with the top of the Narracoota Formation. http://dbforms.ga.gov.au/pls/www/geodx.strat_units.sch_full?wher=stratno=13894.- and so a potential vms cu/au deposit of the Horseshoe lights type.​
