You may be right. I could never understand why AEE would want to spin off Haggan if it was such a good opportunity, It never made sense to me.
But still unusual AEE could make this announcement without an update on the IPO; even if it is cancelled or now a 2nd alternative to export style financing.
Another ASX V hopeful has had export financing support but has yet to get off the ground years later.
