I read an article quite some time ago where one of the operators in the Mississippian believed that acreage east of the Nemaha Ridge where AOK and Range are situated (including Kay County) wasn't very good. They were of the opinion that acreage west of the Nemaha Ridge (Grant and Alfalfa County) was much better.
I am very glad that Range has now proven that theory wrong and the fact that Devon has now also significantly increased their acreage in Kay County gives me greater confidence that AOK is in the right place, at the time particularly with the oil price now looking like it's headed back towards $100.
IMO, it will only be a matter of time before more people realise how undervalued AOK is.
