Hello Pow4ade,Good to read you. I would imagine both for the following reasons.
Infill Drilling
I suspect John and the team are eager to define some kind of a JORC category resource in time for an escalation of the nickel and copper prices as all the economy gurus are forecasting for 2019. this they tell us is arising due to (fast decreasing stockpiles and anticipated higher demand for both metals). To do this, it will require an infill drilling programme as there appears to be reasonable continuity along the structure in the Investigators orebody, albeit with possible breaks in the mineralisation. This therefore will require a significant number of holes from north to south on what I would expect would be at 50m spacing intersecting the Investigators Structure as close to right angles to Investigators' plunge, along at least a Km. of strike and to a depth of 250 or 300m. i.e. a grid of holes at 50m. spacing to define the shape of the Investigators structure and to calculate its metal content. Many of the already drilled holes would of course feature as part of such a programme. Nevertheless, depending on the urgency of defining a resource, a second and a third rig will be required to complete such a task over the next 6 to 9 months.
Definition Drilling
When you mention definition drilling in this context, I take it you mean to define the continuity of the mineralisation intersected to date at Investigators, with the prospects of Stricklands, Cathedrals and let us not forget Bullets, all to the east along the Cathedrals Belt of Mt. Alexander. If that is what you infer, I think that might be ambitious with the amount of funds left in the kitty. I am sure John Prineas has done his homework extremely thoroughly and he would not take any risks in burning cash towards definition drilling outside the Investigators prospect. He 's got his bird in the hand for the time being. I really believe the next drilling campaign will be designed to define a JORC figure at Investigators.
This of course opens many scenarios with regard to exploration programmes, rasing of funds, and the possibility of partnerships and JV agreements. Let's see what John Prineas comes up with. Whatever it is, we will be going through some very interesting times with St. George. I'm confident John Prineas' plans will heavily favour his loyal shareholders.
Take care pow4ade and I wish for you a very successful future. Indeed , for all of us at SGQ.
Cheers,
Helmenesh.
