@tdci. I was still a subscriber to the Barefoot Investor when he made the recommendation.
I was a contributor to his forum when a sharemarket beginner asked if they should make a large investment to AHY on the basis of Scotts recommendation. I responded that as it was his or her first investment, and as their knowledge of the market wasnt great, then perhaps if they werent confident, they could consider an LIC. Some boofhead on the forum asked me who I thought I was to give such advice and that everyone should take Scotts recommendations without question. I responded to the boofhead in kind and I think both our posts were deleted.
I am no longer a subscriber to the Barefoot Investor Online. Yep ! I was surprised to see it recommended, but I dont know if it still on the buy list. I’d be interested to know too !
PS. I was a holder but sold at my buying price of $1.60 after receiving too many reports of profit downgrades and bad news.
