I'm no geologist and I could be way off, but I think ARV have done surface sampling and used some form of radar to see the makeup of the ground.

Not sure whether it's a compliance thing or not, but if ARV are digging around the Munni Munni tenement, do they have to announce it to us? It could had happened well before CN came on board and they thought because it's another company and for their interest only we don't have to announce it to shareholders - I could be wrong though, I don't work in compliance.

It looks like their projects surround Munni Munni so they could had been doing drilling on the side, or right up against the edge and see positive results? Just speculating to how they came to finding something to drop $750k on....
