My number 1 takeaway from this announcement is that there is to be a renewed and invigorated focus on advancing this story
A listing on the London exchange is infinitely better than a listing on the TSX or US exchanges in my opinion and a significant move in getting it all up and running
A divestment of non core assets and a focus at last on moving RH forward are also positives
The Sheikh hails from one of the worlds most savvy moneyed families .
They know how to create wealth and sustain it .
Yes they made their money first and foremost from oil but those reserves have fast become depleted.
But they didn't stop there ,they long ago diversified into property and shares.
The difference with their investment philosophy is that they tend to invest in early stage growth stories such as Apple not pie in the sky mining stocks living on a hope and a prayer .
For the Sheikh to be involved here at all strongly suggests to me that he is
A ...a believer in the story and
B ....of the opinion that he can bring it to fruition
And that's not at all bad for starters.
At the very least he deserves a year to prove his worth.
