I know what you mean - my intial reaction when looking at the company was similar actually. I think the reality of environmental regulation and the way complaints are handled will mean environmental monitoring will become a bigger and bigger part of big business. (big ox energy were mandated to use EVS because of complaints).

With the world population growing and the have nots needing to increase their carbon footprint to catch up with the have's, environmental focus will become more and more acute in the years to come, with that I have no doubt.

I'm not one for 'ethical investing', I'd rather make money, and continue to fund charities of my choice instead, but obviously (and respectfully) each to their own.
