Now obviously I’m not as close to the ground as BB, however if he did claim that there’s 20mt there....even as a believer, I would say that’s more salesmanship than fact. Just JORC 8-10MT for now.....that alone will bring a healthy return for all shareholders. Who knows what’s sitting under Wisa Lake. But let’s worry about that later. The Li EV boom hasn’t even really started yet. And with the location and quality of ADVs deposit...all they need to do is secure the 8-10mt to be a success. Especially on the western continent. We can worry about the rest later but there are already a number of Cobalt plays in Canada which could compliment ADV once they succeed in increasing the Li JORC. Companies are looking for safer alternatives to self serving Chinese policies and the DRC.
Now as to why BB and his ‘experienced’ board didn’t make the change sooner to a new Geo team, or adopt the GPR system to help streamline the process sooner....one can only guess. And as a guess I must admit that it probably comes down to either bad advice or lack of knowledge/experience.
Regardless of this though, I am prepared to take his recent comments in the webinar at face value. I do believe he is genuine when he states his main goal is to move to production. The fact that they bothered securing direct access to the train line and have actively changed the Geo team says a lot for me. I am confident that our BOD are finally starting to surround themselves with the right level of intelligence to expedite the process moving forward.
And that, there in lies the key to good management.....if you don’t have what it takes....hire it.
