Why would they bother releasing this to the market at 4:08pm and not let the stock close in the match?

Last time they timed their release was the afternoon prior to the bid being leaked to the media. If i was a betting man and McAleese isn't going away, it would be in my opinion that the Directors have noticed that McAleese via Archer are increasing their stake in the company and may / have approached the company with a revised offer and this is their last ditch effort of the directors to sell themselves to shareholders to try not to lose their grip on this mis managed company. I'd love to see an increase to Archer / McAleese's stake come through tomorrow morning.

There are a few key terms in this statement released to the market and I believe that it is very ballsy of the directors to be making a few of these statements.

Tomorrow will be an interesting one...if not for the market getting sold off tonight, but hopefully for the right reasons for BOL tomorrow. Bring on a revised bid i say!
