It'll be interesting to see how it plays out but a previous announcement mentioned they were looking at non dilutive options. This appears to be a part of this strategy. The funding here could be significant as there's so much potential especially with the swarm diver. UUV is swimming with the big boys now.
Not sure of these other competitors you mention. BAE? General Dynamics? They're not a direct competitor of UUV.
Durval was an innovator who appeared out of his depth and Batista headed up a review of the company and recruited those now in charge. Batista was a short term appointment made by the companys major shareholder.
