RE:  Appointment of Receivers and Managers  

Stargroup Ltd (ASX: STL) (the Company) today announce that Receivers and Managers were appointed to the Company and three of its subsidiaries on 19 November 2017, being:

 Star Payment Systems Pty Ltd (Receivers and Managers Appointed)   Stargroup Investments Ltd (Receivers and Managers Appointed)   Star ATM Pty Ltd (Receivers and Managers Appointed)  (together the Companies)

The Company’s other subsidiaries are not subject to insolvency appointments and we expect this will remain the case.

Richard Tucker and John Bumbak of KordaMentha Restructuring have been appointed as Receivers and Managers of the Companies.

Business as usual and sale process to commence immediately

The Receivers and Managers advise that they intend to trade the business on a ‘business as usual’ strategy.  

The Receivers and Managers will commence an immediate process to seek expressions of interest to sell or recapitalise the business.
