Not sure what there isn't to like unless there's some skeletons in his previous experience. The reality is BFC is a dairy company. They have absolutely bombed out in all other areas through poor acquisitions/investments so his experience makes sense to me.
I can't believe that Ebert is still there in any capacity. He was obviously moved on from the CEO role, so there must be something they aren't telling the market about why they haven't terminated him. I have no idea whether this is true so it's just my speculation, but Ebert is employed by Beston Pacific and I haven't seen anything in what we know about the investment managers agreement that deals with payouts to terminated employees. Maybe, and I again say it's my speculation, Beston Pacific can't charge any termination fees to BFC as they already get their monthly fee for employees, so rather than wear the termination fee themselves they've just buried him in another role that sounds important but has no impact and hope he goes away of his own accord.
