@Sam2017 - personally I ignore people who hype up stocks, ditto with others who are intent on being debbie downers. If I buy a stock, its only after I've done my own research - reading lots of company reports, assessing the quality and history of its managers, looking at the significant holders (I've developed a database over time of those who hold long-term and those who sell for quick profits), finding as much info as I can on the quality of their assets/product and whether its future demand will be strong, and assessing how much cash they have in the bank in order to know whether a CR is imminent - especially important with microcaps. If there's been a CR, has it been under or oversubscribed, and if the former, did a broker such as Patersons take up the slack (in which case there'll be dumping into the SP until they've sold out). Lastly I analyse the chart, seeing where support & resistance are, looking at recent price action & volume and determining whether its in a good place to buy.

Someone like shimmer may bring a stock to my attention, but I never ever buy on his say-so, or the recommendations of other people I've followed over the years. People who do buy because others told them to, only have themselves to blame.

Now ... can we please get back to discussing MEI?
