I understand that Stratex was not the only source of funding. But it was the preferred one, and that juruena was very exciting especially with majors farming in on the boundary. That led to a change in plan from small scale mining in juruena, to proving up its value (prior to farming down?). The idea is that 30k metres of drilling can prove up a proper mine, in an area attracting interest.àaà
Now it makes sense to me, with the presentation suggesting one year to construction. So need some cash to complete BFS and PFS respectively.
I expect funding for Bombora will be provided by shareholder IFC.
I suspect you are right about our new MD being a requirement of potential funders
