I can't see the synergy with this company as a distributor but I know very little about South Korea markets and companies. Is it simply a company who wants to protect it's own products and it's cheapest entry with some upside was to also become a distrib? Would want to see initial orders and volume before you would attribute a cent to this relationship as this company has had a multitude of false starts that never produced revenue let alone profit and now has serious competition.

I wonder what product the South Korean company wanted access to? .
