Based on the google search description of an alternate director, it sounds like just a formal delegate for whne the Director is unavailable. Could be something specific, maybe the Director needs to be elsewhere. Or just a backup. Not enough info to garner that level.
We haven't seen an announcement come out to imply that he's no longer the CEO of the subsidiary company so probably isn't something long-term.
