The way I read it is the company is now running out of jobs to do as the directors clearly says new jobs are really difficult to get. Also in the annual report, it was said the company has completed all existing tasks. That means the company needs to quickly identify a target to buy otherwise the case won't last for very long.
No wonder there was a selling pressure back then.
