not necessarily slow at paying - they may be on 30days, 45days, 60 days terms, which might not even be ex store, or FOB but could be upon arrival (i.e. the clock excludes time to ship).
Yes, if they sold a swag of product,say in last month, then that could partly explain high receivables.
madmax- re comment on debtors- pilatus and dalywaters have handled. Regarding lumping the high inventory indicating high forthcoming growth - its a "maybe" and a "if everything goes to plan". But reasons for inventory staying high (and thus being a drain on working capital) could include if they need to keep stock while it ages (cheeses) or if there arrangements with distributors is to actually hold stock in Asia for sale, which is, from my cursory reading, not clear
