I agree with you on the dividend front. I would much prefer they kept the cash - especially when, as you say, it's not coming out of any half year profit.

Maybe they think they can spare it, with $4m in the bank and another $3m in net receivables.

Even so, on principle I think they should save the cash until they see how the walnut and onion harvest turns out. If it does turn out to be a good year, pay out some $$$ then.
