I had expected a slightly better result but in the ballpark but have no idea why they would pay a small interim dividend and not hold back until they have the season under their belt.

Really get frustrated when companies pay dividends but both cashflow from operations and net profit is seasonal and you dont know what that will generate. Why not pay one dividend a year after you can see what the full year looks like.

Not sure about tight management control expenses all up but revenue as well.
