Jackgreen September Quarter Appendix 4C "Jackgreen today released its September quarter Appendix 4C demonstrating the continued improvement of the business. The September quarter shows another 34% increase in the receipts from customers over the previous quarter and a 130% increase on the same quarter last year. This increase is a combination of the continued growth in the electricity customer base and the relaunch of the Easy Being Green business, with these results reflecting the first full quarter of revenue for the energy efficiency products. Both businesses are continuing to grow and it is expected that receipts from customers will again show solid growth in the coming quarter. The net operating cash outflow for the quarter of $1,689k is similar to last quarter; however it is a substantial 80% decrease from the same quarter last year. The result for the quarter includes the impact of the higher consumption attributable to the winter months. The wholesale costs for the quarter were $1.847 million higher in the current quarter compared to the June quarter. The revenue attributable to the winter months will be fully reflected in the December quarter result as the billing cycle occurs. Managing Director, Andrew Randall, stated that ‘the Company is excited about the improvement of the cash flow of the business and expects the coming quarter to provide a continuation of this trend. The growth in receipts is expected to continue in accordance with the customer growth and billing of the higher consumption periods as well as the expansion of the Easy Being Green business."
Fascinating - full of potential. The trick is that this is last years report. Thought I'd show how bullish they were a year ago! They did not say that 2009 would see another LOSS and look how they mention that the revenue for the winter months will be reflected in the December quarter - b*gger - that means we are in trouble next quarter too as they have already explained that 2009 was a mild winter!!
Fair dinkum - how long is it going to take before we see the word profit feature in an announcement?
Good luck to all patient holders. I'm out. I shall however continue to watch this company demonstrate it's enormous potential and continue to make a LOSS.
All too predictable!
