Ah dear... Looks like CT1 joins quite a few micro-cap tech stocks that had a poor Dec quarter for sales. Seems cash burn continues to reduce.

But most notable for me... there’s no commentary on the result. Surely they would know the SPP result which could have gone into the commentary. SPP will provide a small cash top-up. Usually this company is pretty good with providing information to us shareholders??? Investor presentation is great and the AGM commentary was excellent.

Clearly the Penta investment was a failure. CT1 told us they were looking at funding options and ‘material corporate transaction’ - IMHO acquisition (24 Dec). They probably ran into the end-of-year brick wall. That’s why they did the SPP first thing Jan.

We can expect a private placement soon which is needed. Acquisition is probably best way forward. The company needs to raise serious funds. You can’t grow a tech company by doing small raises. They probably need $1m just to market their product.

We go into these penny stocks knowing they’re high risk. Some deliver. Some don’t. Time will tell. CT1 seems to have the fundamentals. Good product, big market and good executive team.

Im sure we’ll hear more on CT1 soon. Presumably they’ll get an ASX letter next week. Maybe the company will have more to say when the ASX ask (or before the ASX ask). They certainly need to update us on the ‘material corporate transaction’ status.
